A kathak performance by Shila Mehta & Maya Sapera, produced by the Maya Sapera Dance Company. This production was inspired by the Indian production Mahasati (by Shila Mehta) and adapted to a Belgian audience.
Cross-Cultural Art
I grew up in Belgium, surrounded by Indian and Oriental artists. Add to this my Spanish roots and you know that cross-cultural art is an expression of who I am.
Music & More
Music is my second love. To work with live music gives me freedom in the creation process. Building bridges is where I stand for. Besides music, I also co-create with video-art and art-installations.
